Sultanate of Oman confirms readiness to host World Cup fans

As part of the program of the Sultanate of Oman to accompany and prepare for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the Director of Administration and Finance of the General Directorate of Passports and Civil Status of Oman stated that the benefits of the World Cup Fan Visa to enter the Sultanate of Oman for Haya card holders is that it is a free multiple-entry visa, enhanced with check-in on arrival and valid for up to 60 days.

He added during a press conference held today by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism of Oman to reveal the details of the program of the Sultanate of Oman accompanying the Qatar 2022 World Cup and its preparation, a Haya card holder is allowed to accompany his first class family and reside in the Sultanate Oman, as well as change the card to a visa of another category during your stay in the Sultanate in accordance with the requirements.

Shabib bin Muhammad Al Maamari, CEO of the National Tourism Operator, noted that the tourism products offered under the program exceed 20,000 hotel rooms and over 200 tourism products through more than 35 local operators.
