A teacher was killed at a school in Saint-Jean-de-Luz in southwestern France’s Basque Country after she was stabbed by a student on Wednesday, according to prosecutors. The student dwelled on what the ambulance crews reported.
The incident took place at the secondary and secondary school Saint-Thomas-d’Aquine in Saint-Jean-de-Luz. According to the Basque Country news website Actor.far, which first broke the news, the victim was in her fifties and her heart stopped when the ambulance crews arrived and were unable to resuscitate her.
The Sud West newspaper reported that the victim was a Spanish teacher who taught a lesson in the first grade of high school. It turned out that the attacker entered the classroom with a knife and attacked the teacher.
On September 13, 2022, a fifteen-year-old boy stabbed a high school teacher in the neck in Normandy, northern France. A few days later, the 63-year-old victim was discharged from the hospital. At the end of September, the student was charged and admitted to a specialized hospital.
