The Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the UN, in cooperation with the delegations of the Philippines and Bahrain, organized a UN event to discuss reforms to increase labor mobility and protect the rights of migrants.
The event, which is taking place on the sidelines of the First United Nations Forum for the Review of International Migration, was attended by Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for the Inspection and Development of the Working Environment Sattam bin Amer Al-Harbi and Chargé d’Affaires of the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom to the United Nations, Counselor Muhammad Abdulaziz Al-Atiq.
Participants highlighted the rapid reforms and achievements made by the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in cooperation with international organizations to protect the rights of migrant workers in a way that enhances their active participation in the economies of destination countries.
