Today, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, announced the launch of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Leadership Development Program, which aims to develop the capabilities of the leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and their current and future competencies in line with their ambitions and future role .
This key project is an additional starting point in the development of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and keeping it abreast of the achievements and skills of diplomatic work in order to enhance its goals and role in line with the priorities of the Ministry and the Kingdom. foreign policy.
The project consists of several activities and operations divided into a number of stages, namely: the stage of identifying candidates for the first version of the program, the stage of designing the methodology and tools for assessing selected candidates, the stage of assessing candidates, and the stage of developing training programs for the admission of candidates.
A clear and detailed methodology and management has been developed to monitor the performance of the program to ensure that it meets the objectives of the ministry and the required standards of integrity and transparency, through a superior committee under the patronage and supervision of His Highness the Minister for Foreign Affairs and an executive committee under the leadership of His Excellency the Assistant Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs executive affairs, as well as a number of executives with experience in the ministry, to monitor the progress of the business in accordance with the approved plan.
