The Jordanian authorities have revealed the details of the horrific Ramtha crime, in which two girls were killed at the hands of their father, confirming the arrest of the accused.
A spokesman for the Public Security Bureau stated that “Last night, a woman of Arab descent received information from the Ramtha Brigade Police Department that her ex-wife, who is mentally ill and lives in the Ramtha Brigade, severely abused her four sons and constantly beat them. and that she feared for their lives.”
And he stated that “immediately after receiving this information, they moved to the place and arrested this man, and during a search of his four children, only two of them (a minor and a girl) were found in the house, and eavesdropping on their testimony, they confirmed that their father was constantly beaten, and that in the previous days he caused the murder of two of their sisters (9 years old, 12 years old), having previously severely beaten them with a stick (stick), and buried them around the house.
It was stated that “during interrogation, the accused admitted that ten days ago he hit one of his daughters with a stick, which led to her death, and buried her in the immediate vicinity of the house, and a few days later he hit another, who also died as a result of beatings and threw it into a hole next to the house.
A media spokesperson confirmed that “the prosecutor and the medical examiner were immediately notified and summoned, and the bodies of two girls were removed and transferred to the forensic department, and two other children were sent to the hospital for examination.” and monitor their health and psychological condition, and the investigation is still ongoing.”
