His Excellency President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo today received His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, at the Istana Presidential Palace in the capital Jakarta.
During the reception, His Highness conveyed greetings from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence. them and their wishes to the government and people of the sister Republic of Indonesia for further progress and prosperity. His Excellency conveyed his greetings and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Highness the Crown Prince, and to the government and people of Saudi Arabia.
During the reception, bilateral relations between the two fraternal countries were considered, as well as ways to expand cooperation between the Kingdom and Indonesia in various fields.
The reception was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Indonesia, Issam Abed Al-Taqafi, and the Director General of His Highness’s Office of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Abdul Rahman Al-Daoud.
