His Excellency Dr. Hagi Geingob, President of the Republic of Namibia, today received His Excellency Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Kattan, Counselor to the Royal Court, and his accompanying delegation.
During the reception, His Excellency Councilor Kattan conveyed the regards of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense – may God bless them keep – and their wishes to the government and people of the friendly Republic of Namibia, further progress and prosperity. His Excellency conveyed his greetings and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Highness the Crown Prince, as well as the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the reception, bilateral relations between the two countries, ways to support and develop them in various fields, as well as all regional and international events of mutual interest were discussed.
During the meeting, His Excellency the President of Namibia expressed his country’s full support for the Kingdom’s request to host EXPO 2030 in Riyadh, and His Excellency Counselor Kattan expressed gratitude and appreciation to the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for this support, which is one of the outstanding relations between the two countries, emphasizing that the Kingdom will present an exceptional version to the world.
