President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that he and French President Emmanuel Macron discussed the ongoing peace talks with Russia.
Zelensky tweeted on Thursday, “I have continued the dialogue with French President Emmanuel Macron… Particular attention has been paid to the continuation of peace talks.”
“My priorities in the negotiations are absolutely clear, ending the war, guarantees of security, sovereignty, restoring the country’s territorial integrity, real guarantees for our country, real protection for our country,” Zelensky said earlier on Thursday.
It is noteworthy that Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov denied on Thursday that Russia and Ukraine are close to signing an agreement, emphasizing that work on this issue continues.
